AROMASIN BASIC INFORMATION
Aromasin (Exemestane) is a steroidal third generation aromatase inhibitor. This inhibitor work differently from the the type II inhibitors as rather than block the enzyme that converts hormone to estrogen, it bonds with the enzyme eliminating it’s ability to bond and convert the hormone to estrogen. The difference being for the user is that this inhibitor will continue to limit the ability even after discontinuance of use. Unlike type II inhibitors that block the ability of the enzyme to bond with the receptors it acts on the enzyme itself making it ineffective. Your body will need to produce more of the enzyme and until then it will effectively have no enzyme in your body to down regulate and create estrogen.

The advantages of this drug in comparison is that it will not be limited by the use of Nolvadex (Tamoxifen Citrate). Nolvadex counters the effects of Type II aromatase inhibitors. So you can use it with aromatase blockers like Nolvadex. This is a great combo for PCT.
